STATUTORY DECLARATION UNDER SECTION 4(1) (b) OF THE RTI ACT, 2005

Chaiduar College, Gohpur, is a public authority as defined in Section 2(h) and in pursuance of provisions of Section 4 (1) (b) of Right to Information Act, 2005, and it hereby makes available the information, through its website, so that the citizens and all stakeholders may have access to the information under the control of the College, and to promote transparency and accountability in the working processes of the college.

Chaiduar College is affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam. The college has got registration of 2(f) and 12 (B) under UGC Act, 1956. The administration and management of the college have been conducted as per the provisions, rules and regulations of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Assam.

Chaiduar College has provisions of rules framed under RTI Act, 2005.
