With the view to enhance employability of students and make them industry ready, the University Grants Commission (UGC) had introduced Bachelor of Vocational (B.Voc) Courses at undergraduate level in 200 different colleges all across the country in 2014.Chaiduar College, Gohpur has introduced Department of Mass Media offering three years full time Bachelors Degree in Mass Media from the academic session 2015-16.

At a time when National Skill Development Council (NSDC) and Media and Entertainment Sector Council (MESC) have reported huge gap of skilled Media professionals all across the country, the introduction of professional and skill based courses like Mass Media emanatelike an opportunity for the students and aspiring professionals in the sector of Media and Entertainment Industry.

Eligibility: Any candidate who has passed or awaiting final result of Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations in any stream either from AHSEC or CBSE or any other recognized body are eligible to apply.
